Role Overview
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for many aspects of Enterprise IT operations. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of common infrastructure components (e.g., hosting, compute, storage, networking, connectivity, etc.). This role will require a good level of formalization, quality documentation, and the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
Project Manager responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of infrastructure projects
Interface with internal audit and compliance teams for reporting to senior leadership
Assist with budget planning, tracking and variance analysis
Track vulnerabilities and patching through to remediation
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of CMDB
Understand and contribute to enhancement of ITSM workflows
Map user journeys to infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage
Produce high-level technical Architecture Diagrams with hardware and software interactions
Collaborate with the Observability Team to identify issues and impact to end-user experience
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
5+ years of experience with infrastructure, operations and project management
Previous hands-on engineering experience with Networks, Storage, or Servers in a Data Center environment
Solid understanding of hardware and software architecture in Windows and Linux virtualized environments
Flexible and autonomous, detail orientated with the ability to work with inter-departmental teams and work with multiple senior stakeholders
Effective communication (written and verbal), strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Service-oriented mindset, willingness to collaborate with demanding business, support & engineering teams
ITIL certification desired
PMP certification desired
