We are looking for an organized and proactive Job Controller to manage the planning, coordination, and tracking of vehicle repair and maintenance jobs in the workshop. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient job scheduling, proper technician assignment, and on-time completion of repair work. The Job Controller acts as the central liaison between service advisors, technicians, and parts personnel to ensure smooth workflow and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review job orders from service advisors to verify customer concerns and job requirements.
- Plan and schedule repair and maintenance jobs based on priority, technician availability, and parts readiness. Assign jobs to technicians according to skill level, workload, and job complexity.
- Ensure the job control board is updated in order to maintain synchronization between reception and workshop Job Control Board
- Accurately recording of technician time and writing technical reports and recommendations.
- Coordinate with the QCI/Leadman regarding vehicle work status to ensure timely completion and communicate with service advisors about any delays, changes, or estimated finish times.
- Ensure all completed jobs are quality-checked and ready for release in a timely manner.
- Double-check completed job orders for accuracy and completeness before final billing to ensure correct labor hours, parts used, and services rendered are properly recorded
- Track and document key performance metrics such as job turnaround time, technician productivity, and on-time delivery.
Qualifications:
- Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Automotive Servicing is an advantage
- At least 1 year of experience in a service, workshop, or job coordination role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with workshop processes, automotive repair workflows, and technician skill levels.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Computer literacy
Must be willing to be trained in San Juan City for at least 1 month
Open to newly graduated candidates with at least internship related-experience in job controller.
