Language Data Scientist

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Language Data Scientist, your role involves managing, consulting and engaging with customers on process improvisations in LLM training data synthesis, validation and annotation. Advise and support the BU head on engaging with the customer to understand the upstream activities

Mandatory Skillsets:

• Language and Linguistic Expertise: Extensive experience working with human language data and designing human evaluation tasks, including multi-phase and complex workflows. Deep understanding of language and its relationship with culture, multi-lingual and multi-modal projects; ability to identify ambiguity and subjectivity in language.
• Quantitative Analysis Skills: Advanced knowledge of statistics, metrics (e.g. f1 score, inter-rater reliability metrics), and data analysis methods such as sampling.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Thought Leadership: Handling commercial issues with sense of business understanding.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
• Advanced Knowledge: Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Analytical Thinking: Critical thinking capability to drive insights and innovation in multi-modal and multi-lingual Gen AI.
• Vision and foresight: Ability to translate experience, research and development information and client newsletter to understand client products and services.
• Knowledge of annotation tools and platforms; Experience and expertise in Tableau, Power BI, and other data management and analytics tools; Proficiency in Data Science programming languages.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php140,000.00 - Php180,000.00 per month
