JOB SUMMARY:
The Legal Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and paralegal support to the
Legal Department, ensuring effective management of legal tasks, corporate compliances,
labor-related documentation, and coordination with relevant internal and external
stakeholders. This role demands strong drafting skills, keen attention to detail, and the
ability to manage multiple legal and administrative processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Industrial and Labor Relations Support
- Draft Notices to Explain (NTEs) and other related documents consistent with company policies and labor laws.
- Assist in the conduct of administrative hearings, including preparation of hearing notices and documentation.
- Draft decisions and facilitate timely case turnover on a monthly basis.
- Prepare required documents and ensure compliance for DOLE labor inspections and assessments.
- Monitor and update internal Google Sheets related to IR cases and compliance trackers.
B. Corporate and Paralegal Support
- Assist in corporate filings and compliance, including drafting of General Information Sheets (GIS) and monitoring of SEC and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate case follow-ups and obtain regular status updates from external counsel or relevant agencies.
- Monitor and assist in the filing and progress of IPO application and IP cases.
- Monitor and assist in the filing and progress of DOLE compliances and Labor cases.
- Monitor and assist in the filing and progress of DPO application and DP cases.
- Support real estate compliance monitoring, including lease documentation and renewal tracking.
- Facilitate legal document payments and reimbursement requests following company processes.
- Conduct basic contract reviews under the supervision of the legal counsel.
- Handle notarization of documents and ensure compliance with document execution protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a legal support or paralegal role. Law firm experience (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of labor laws, administrative due process, and corporate compliance
- processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
