The Logistics Inbound Staff will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring all inbound activities in the warehouse, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient receipt of goods and materials. The role requires close attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with suppliers, transport providers, and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of materials, supplies, and products.
- Ensure proper documentation of all inbound deliveries (delivery receipts, invoices, packing lists, etc.).
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely delivery and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and record inventory levels upon receipt, ensuring accuracy in the warehouse management system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures during unloading and storage.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
- Collaborate with inventory and outbound teams to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
- Support periodic stock audits and cycle counts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not always required).
- Experience in warehouse or logistics operations, especially in inbound processes, is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and warehouse software systems.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Physically fit and able to handle warehouse activities if required.
Work Schedule & Location
- Full-time position, based in the warehouse facility.
- May require overtime or weekend work depending on delivery schedules.
