Purpose of the Position:
Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, the Maintenance Planner is responsible and accountable for logistic support to remove all avoidance barriers standing in the way of effective completion of maintenance work. The Planner must be able to gather the ff. to be able to accomplish the maintenance job at hand:

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate closely with the Planning Superintendent and Maintenance Manager in the preparation; and with the Maintenance Superintendents and Supervisors with the scheduling and implementation of preventive maintenance and planned maintenance program for all mining equipment at the project site.
2. Regularly updates the maintenance program as per recommendations by Maintenance Engineers, Superintendents and Managers.
3. Prepares weekly periodic preventive maintenance and planned maintenance scheduling based on the Manufacturer’s recommendation and its relative activity.
4. Assist yearly maintenance budget in coordination with the Planning Superintendent and Maintenance Manager.
5. Track oil sample transmittals to laboratory and ensure timely return of oil sample reports.
6. Work with the Planning Superintendent in determining optimum inventory stock level for but not limited to service kits, consumables, breakdown spare parts, components change-out item etc.
7. Liaise with the withdrawal of required maintenance parts and materials from “on-site” Asset and Logistics Group (warehouse) and contractors (OEM dealers).
8. In charge of the work order planning data in the system for easy reference. Regularly and timely updates the equipment database i.e. service meter reading, machine model and serial numbers, component serial numbers, date of delivery, date of change-out, cause of failure etc.
9. Fast, complete and accurate creation of work orders / request orders to be constantly communicated with head office purchasing with regards to status.
10. Monitors the execution and accomplishment of preventive and planned maintenance program and update records for the next scheduled maintenance.
11. Review and monitor outstanding work order, pending parts and materials to ensure replacement are in order, accounted and recorded.
12. Coordinate with the local purchaser to expedite emergency parts and materials required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering; preferably Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
- Candidates with experience on mining, quarry, and horizontal construction is an advantage.
Willing to work in San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
