Job Summary
The Management Trainee (MT) plays a key role in supporting store operations. Reporting directly to the Store Head, the MT is expected to deliver fast, friendly, and dependable service to customers. The role includes supervision and support in the front-end (check-out area), customer service in the selling area, and ensuring process compliance in the back-end.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day store operations including front-end, selling area, and back-end functions
- Ensure front-end staff are properly scheduled and check-out counters are fully manned, especially during peak hours
- Maintain queueing standard of a maximum of 3 customers per check-out counter
- Ensure POS terminals and payment systems are working properly
- Greet and assist customers, modeling fast and friendly customer service for front-end and selling staff
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and coordinate escalations to concerned departments
- Support and supervise cashiers and baggers; act as Front-End Officer when needed
- Monitor merchandise displays and ensure they follow company standards
- Recommend items and conduct suggestive selling across all categories
- Conduct customer feedback surveys and assist in documentation and coordination of feedback
- Ensure proper receiving and dispatching processes are followed
- Monitor inventory accuracy and timely submission of receiving documents to the Inventory Clerk for encoding
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a department store or supermarket, ideally in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
- Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
