The Marketing and Technical Officer is responsible for promoting the company’s products and services, providing technical support to clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective fieldwork. This role requires a balance of marketing skills and technical knowledge to support business development, client relations, and after-sales service.
Job Description:
Marketing Functions:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products and services.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
- Coordinate and participate in trade shows, exhibits, and client presentations.
- Support the preparation of marketing collaterals, proposals, and promotional campaigns.
Technical & Field Functions:
- Visit client sites to provide product demonstrations, technical presentations, and consultations.
- Assist clients with product installation, troubleshooting, and after-sales support.
- Coordinate with the technical team for service requests, repairs, and product maintenance.
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, market trends, and product performance.
Administrative Functions:
- Prepare technical and marketing reports based on field activities.
- Maintain accurate client records, sales leads, and service documentation.
- Assist in developing training materials and conduct client or staff product trainings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Electronics, Business Administration, or related field.
- With background in marketing and technical support.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and explain them to non-technical clients.
- Willing to travel and work on-field as required.
- With driver’s license.
