1. Checks, receives and endorses equipment and supplies in the area.
2. Obtains supplies and articles daily from the Central Supply Room (CSR).
3. Gives/Performs simple treatments like perineal care, Soap-Sud (SS) Enema.
4. Measures fluid intake and output.
5. Monitors and records vital signs in the chart accurately.
6. Provides specimen container, collects urine and stool specimen and send them to the laboratory.
7. Answers patient’s calls and delivers messages.
8. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the area at all times.
9. Makes sure that patient beds, counters, cabinets, bedside chair and tables are tidy.
10. Removes all used or discontinued equipment from patient areas.
11. Assist patient’s in moving, maintaining proper alignment of patient’s body and utilizing good body mechanic and other activities of daily living.
12. Sees to it that equipment assigned to their area receives proper care and maintenance.
13. Maintains good interpersonal relationships with other hospital personnel.
14. Get stocks from the pharmacy. Reviews items released and endorses properly to the nurse on duty.
15. Attends meeting and conferences.
16. Performs other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the supervisor, the Assistant Chief Nurse or the Chief Nurse.
