Reporting to the Production / Operations Supervisor, the Off Road Driver is responsible and accountable for the safe and cost efficient operations of the ADT/RDT in the attainment of the production target
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct pre-start check-up / assessment of the unit before start of the engine
2. Conduct post check-up /assessment of the unit after the shift
3. Follow instruction of the immediate superior or superior in the working or mining areas
4. Operate the equipment with utmost safety, care and cost efficient manner
5. Provide written report at the end of the shift
6. Transport materials from its designated areas.
7. Follow traffic and road signs
8. Perform related functions
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
1. At least high school graduate
2. Possess 1,2,3 & 8 license restriction code
3. At least one year experience in heavy equipment operations
4. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
5. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
