Job Description
As a Operational Insights & Analytics Lead- BetMGM you will be responsible for overseeing and mentor a team of analysts by managing daily operations, providing guidance, and enhancing process efficiency.
Reporting to the Operational Insights & Analytics Manager - BetMGM you will be part of the Customer Service Team, who will collaborate closely with operation leaders, business intelligence and technology teams.
What you will do
Analyze trends, conduct root cause analyses, and generate reports and dashboards using raw data to provide insights to drive the business forward.
Identify and implement opportunities for process automation to streamline reporting, enhance efficiencies, eliminate redundancy, and ensure data integrity.
Manage Insights projects end-to-end with a solutions-driven approach while providing the team with clear direction and clearing any ambiguity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
4+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
1–2 years in a leadership or mentoring role - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, Python)
- Experience in Customer Service platforms (e.g. Zendesk, Genesys, NICE, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to be agile in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data findings to a non- technical audience
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of analysts
- Experience working with teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones and cultures, demonstrating strong cross-cultural communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
