Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Parks and Recreation Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within park operations, hospitality, or leisure services.
- Experience in customer service, with a strong ability to address visitor concerns and maintain a positive park environment.
- Knowledgeable in park maintenance, operations, retail and inventory, supply chain management and safety procedure
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting, including overseeing operational costs, scheduling, and staff management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of park staff to provide exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Proficient in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing duties, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the park.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication for interacting with staff, park visitors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to make quick, effective decisions in high-pressure situations, including handling emergencies, operational challenges, or customer complaints.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with park management software, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
