Job Description
Your Responsibilities
- Machine Operation:
- Operate pellet machines, ensuring correct settings for temperature, pressure, and feed rate.
- Feed raw materials into pellet machines and monitor the pelletizing process for consistency and quality.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure the final product meets specifications (e.g., size, hardness, and density of pellets).
- Monitoring & Quality Control:
- Continuously monitor the production process, ensuring that pellet production remains consistent and efficient.
- Inspect pellets regularly for quality, checking parameters such as size, texture, and appearance.
- Take samples of pellets for lab analysis or quality testing to ensure product standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the pelletizing process to minimize downtime and maintain optimal production rates.
- Maintenance & Equipment Care:
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance of pellet machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Report any malfunctions or mechanical issues to the maintenance team and assist with repairs when necessary.
- Ensure machines are properly calibrated and set up to prevent operational issues or quality deviations.
- Production Efficiency:
- Monitor raw material usage and ensure the efficient use of resources, minimizing waste.
- Document production rates, material consumption, and machine performance for accurate record-keeping and analysis.
- Work with the production team to optimize machine performance and improve overall production efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating machines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Report any safety hazards or non-compliance issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production processes and resolve any issues.
- Participate in team meetings, offering input on operational improvements and process changes.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Keep accurate records of production data, machine logs, and any deviations from production schedules.
- Report on daily production volumes, quality control findings, and any equipment-related issues.

Your Profile
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational certification is a plus).
- Experience:
- Previous experience in machine operation, particularly in pellet production, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Familiarity with pelletizing machines, feed systems, and related equipment.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to operate and adjust pellet machines, including adjusting feed rates, temperatures, and pressures.
- Knowledge of machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
- Attention to Detail:
- Ability to monitor product quality and identify discrepancies or defects in the pellet production process.
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance teams, and other operators.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
