Job Summary: Responsible in leading of inventory management, production planning and scheduling, interdepartmental coordination, and other activities across plants and warehouses in Cebu intended for Pet Food Business - BPI – Commercial Feeds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventories of all materials (raw materials and packaging materials) and finished goods, with provision of summarized report daily, and/or weekly manner, including the use of an enterprise resource program;
- Prepare production schedule with considerations on forecasts, customer orders, and others, and organize production processes, as scheduled, on toll plant/s with coordination on other departments (Production, Logistics and Quality Assurance teams).;
- Coordinate with warehouse, inventory control, logistics, and purchasing teams, to ensure procurement and movement of necessary materials (raw materials and packaging materials) to support the business requirements;
- Coordinate with Logistics team regarding shipments (in-bound and out-bound) of raw materials and finished goods, in timely manner, including oversight on proper storage and transportation of the materials, and coordination for manpower, and other channels for delivery/deployment of materials for various Pet Food activities;
- Collaborates with Quality Assurance team to ensure all activities be in accordance with the SOPs, including support on audit of receiving and dispatch of raw materials and packaging materials to toll plant, and receiving and dispatch of finished goods from toll plant to the respective destinations;
- Coordinate with Production, Logistics and Quality Assurance teams regarding the observations in the audit, including, provision of recommendations, setting of corrective actions, and follow-up on action plans.;
- Prepares and recommends for approval: acceptance and/or disposal of materials (raw material, packaging, finished goods);
- Submits on-time progress report to GM Pet Food Business;
- Performs other duties that maybe assigned by his/her superiors.
- KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Education :College graduate, preferably Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related fields
Experience : at least 3 years’ experience in supply chain management, and/or plant operations;
Special Skills : has good oral and written skills, computer literate, knowledgeable in Microsoft office programs, familiarization with enterprise resource planning programs (i.e. BOS)
