- Customer Service: Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner. Answer basic customer inquiries, direct them to the appropriate personnel, and assist with the selection of over-the-counter medications.
- Prescription Preparation: Support pharmacists in preparing prescription orders by retrieving and labeling medications, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing pharmacy inventory by restocking shelves, ensuring proper storage of medications, and removing expired or damaged products.
- Data Entry: Input prescription information into the pharmacy system, process medication orders, and verify patient records for accuracy.
- Filling and Labeling: Help in filling prescriptions, labeling bottles, and ensuring proper packaging. Ensure that all prescriptions are completed accurately before being handed off to a pharmacist for final verification.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, shelves, and equipment. Ensure the pharmacy area remains compliant with health and safety standards.
