About the role
Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc. is seeking an experienced Planner/Buyer to join our team in Calamba City, Laguna. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, purchasing, and inventory management of materials and supplies to support our manufacturing operations.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain effective procurement plans to meet production requirements
- Coordinate with the suppliers regarding materials inquiry
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods
- Continuously analyse and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activities
- Provide regular reports and updates on procurement performance to management
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a procurement or buyer role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address supply chain challenges
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers
- Knowledge in using SAP and inventory management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree holder
