- Manage the end-to-end plastic injection moulding process, including setup, operation, and maintenance of production equipment
- Analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve process efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new moulding techniques, materials, and technologies
- Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to track the productivity and quality of the plastic injection moulding operations
- Participate in the development of new product designs and manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a plastic injection moulding role, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity
- Strong technical knowledge of plastic injection moulding equipment, materials, and processing techniques
- Proficiency in interpreting and analysing production data to identify improvement opportunities
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field
