- Testing and Balancing:Regularly test the water's pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and other chemical levels.
- pH and Alkalinity:Maintain proper pH and alkalinity levels to ensure swimmer comfort and effective sanitizer performance.
- Sanitizer:Use chlorine or other approved sanitizers to kill bacteria and algae.
- Shocking:Periodically shock the pool with a high dose of chlorine to eliminate contaminants.
- Water Balance:Ensure calcium hardness and other water balance parameters are within recommended ranges to prevent corrosion and scaling.
2. Cleaning:
- Skimming: Remove debris from the surface of the pool with a skimmer.
- Brushing: Brush the pool walls and floor to prevent algae and dirt buildup.
- Vacuuming: Vacuum the pool bottom to remove settled debris.
- Filter Cleaning: Clean or backwash the pool filter regularly to remove collected debris and maintain proper filtration.
3. Equipment Maintenance:
- Pump and Filter: Ensure the pump and filter are running correctly to circulate and filter the water.
