We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Port Supervisor to oversee the daily port operations and willing to be assigned in Cebu, Tagbilaran, Getafe and Calapan.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Oversee and supervise ticketing operations of assigned terminals.
- Monitors the passenger’s traffic and assist passengers in their needs and other concerns.
- Observes and evaluates workers' performance and submit to Human Resource for further evaluation.
- Issues instructions and assigns duties to workers.
- Implement strictly the BOARDING POLICY OF THE COMPANY.NO TICKET NO BOARDING. Rules on giving and granting passes should be properly followed.
- Communicates with other departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work.
- Interprets and communicates work procedures and company policies to staff.
- Resolves complaints and answers questions of customers regarding ticket concern, services and procedures.
- Reviews and check work of subordinates such as teller reports, records, and applications for accuracy, content, and correct errors.
- Makes recommendations to management concerning staff and improvement of procedures.
- Willing to travel
- Do other duties as may deem proper and necessary for the smooth operations of the terminals.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- With Substantial Work Experience in a similar role in port or terminal operations
- Excellent Organizational Skill and ability to prioritize
- Computer literate/Proficient in Microsoft applications(word, excel, power point) or equivalent
- With supervisory/management skills
- Must have a strong leadership skills & relevant people management background
