The Position
The Purpose
This position is primarily responsible for effective product portfolio management, driving business success by defining, implementing, and measuring local sales and marketing strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, empower them with essential tools, and leverage continuous market analysis to deliver actionable insights for portfolio growth and performance." This is an office-based role within Roche Philippines' Diagnostics Division.
As the Portfolio Specialist, you are responsible for:
Portfolio Management: Product lifecycle management and oversight of instruments, reagents, and consumables, including timely product launches and effective obsolescence planning
Marketing Plan Development: Creation of a yearly Marketing Plan outlining strategies and initiatives for the products responsible. Contribute to the Sales and Marketing Plan by performing sales and market trend analysis, gathering competitor information, mapping key stakeholders, and developing counterproposals.
Strategy Rollout: Ensure effective rollout of strategy to the marketplace. Handle marketing programs and develop strategic activities. Develop strategic partnerships with third-party vendors, medical associations, and trade partners.
Product Training: Conduct internal training for relevant employees on new products and business plans, and external training for distributors and customers.
Field Force Support: Support the field force with customer presentations/CMEs, market intelligence, and product information updates.
Customer Education: Facilitate customer education through seminars, RTDs, symposiums, congresses, and trade exhibits.
Event Participation: Conduct product presentations and participate in product launch planning with the Product Manager. Support in the planning and execution of marketing activities such as product campaigns/promotions and exhibition booths.
Marketing Tools: Production of brochures, flyers and other sales & marketing collaterals and gimmicks
Collaborates with team and cross-functional groups to create exceptional customer experiences. Ensure timely implementation and execution of all business activities, which align with company policies and SOPs and follow the highest compliance standard
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Economics, Public Health, or a related discipline
Preferably with experience in the IVD or healthcare industry, such as clinical laboratory or blood bank settings
Understanding or interest in learning about the Philippine healthcare system, government bidding, health economics, and regulatory and reimbursement landscapes.
Proven ability to drive and execute strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of compliance regulations and ethical guidelines.
