URGENT HIRING: Pre-Alert Email Coordinator (IMPORT)
Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment? ECU Worldwide Japan is looking for a Pre-Alert Email Coordinator who is fast, efficient, and a critical thinker. This role is vital in managing pre-alert emails for incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth coordination across teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the pre-alert email inbox daily.
- Review shipping documents (HBL, MBL, invoices, packing lists) for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with origin offices, and internal teams to resolve documentation issues.
- Understand and disseminate inquiries and concerns related to pre-alerts to internal teams in a timely and professional manner.
- Escalate urgent matters to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain Tracker for shipments and organized records of communications and updates.
- Support continuous improvement of email handling procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in import/export documentation or freight forwarding preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Teams, Excel, and other relevant tools with a broad understanding of their features and applications in a business setting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
