Job Summary:

You will manage day-to-day operations by leading the team handling indirect and direct buying activities, including low-level sourcing and PO placement, in compliance with policy. You will oversee data management and lead any future service migrations if needed. You will ensure customer requirements are met, while developing and empowering your team to achieve business goals. You will collaborate with category teams, local procurement, and BPE to maintain smooth operations and high stakeholder satisfaction. You will also resolve PO-related issues, drive process improvements, support audit queries, and handle administrative tasks such as reporting and analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence
  • You will lead, develop, and monitor performance metrics and SSC objectives tailored to each business area.
  • You will ensure POs are completed within agreed service levels and aligned with policies, SOPs, and SWIs across procurement categories.
  • You will prepare metrics reports and lead collaboration with customers (monthly or as needed) to address operational issues and performance.
  • You will ensure timely resolution of issues and perform gap analysis based on performance measures and KPI dashboards.
• Process Efficiencies
  • You will recognize and eliminate operational barriers by developing innovative solutions and driving continuous improvement through regular process reviews.
  • You will identify areas for process improvement and lead the implementation of enhancements.
  • You will initiate the development, updating, and review of documentation and standard operating procedures within your area.
  • You will implement BPE initiatives and ensure team compliance with standard processes and preferred tools.
• Leadership and People Management
• • You will continuously guide, coach, and develop direct reports to enhance productivity, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • You will allocate and balance workloads effectively across your team.
  • You will develop team members by providing regular coaching and performance feedback.
  • You will act promptly and decisively on performance issues.

Job Qualifications:

• You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical-related field.
• You have 7-8years of experience in procurement, including evaluating bids and accurately translating and processing customer requests.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English and, where applicable, a second language based on team assignment.
• You have negotiation experience, international logistics knowledge, and experience managing suppliers using foreign Incoterms.
• You have experience working in multinational companies and understand the dynamics of a global business environment.
• You follow established procedures and sequential processes with precision and consistency.
• You apply critical thinking to analyze and review orders and to identify opportunities for process efficiency.
• You work well in a team environment and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• You take initiative and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• You are diligent, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are managed effectively.
• You have knowledge of foreign trade, free trade agreements, relevant regulations, tariff and non-tariff restrictions, transportation, and INCOTERMS.
• You possess strong leadership skills, with experience in people development and a proven ability to lead, motivate, and train team members.
• You are detail-oriented, with excellent planning, workflow management, and organizational skills.
• You manage multiple priorities effectively, meet deadlines, and are familiar with project management tools and methodologies.
• You build strong interpersonal relationships and collaborate effectively in an intercultural environment.
