- Updates and adjusts the production/machine schedule, on a daily-basis, based on the machine production output report. Records all concerns and down-times and advise the planning head if there are delays, short runs, aborted runs, no raw materials, quality concerns, and other concerns that will affect the machine and delivery target/schedules.
- Prepares and analyses the daily, weekly and monthly production/machine schedule, together with the planning head, based on delivery date commitments.
- Responsible in preparation, printing and distribution of the production/machine schedule to the production supervisors and managers.
- Based on the production/machine schedule line-up, prepare the “IPS copies & machine setting parameters’ sheet” and distribute to production supervisors Make sure that issued copies are entered in the IPS monitoring logbook.
- After every job order finished (per JO and per process), coordinate with the shift supervisors for the collection of “IPS and machine setting parameters” copies, collate the complete IPS & MSP, put inside the job folder and return to R&D section for safe-keeping. Make sure that received IPS & MSP from production department are entered in the IPS monitoring logbook.
- Coordinates with set-up crew in-charge regarding cylinder availability, status and preparations.
- Coordinates with warehouse section and logistics section regarding availability of all raw materials. Issues corresponding MRIS based on the line up finalized by the Planning supervisor
- Responsible in monitoring and checking the quantity produced versus the quantity scheduled and advise the planning head for any discrepancies for proper courses of actions.
- Revises and adjusts the production/machine schedules as needed (after discussion with the planning head) to accomplish and meet the demand of the customers (delivery date requirements) or due to production, technical, or raw materials concerns.
- Assists the planning head in monitoring and evaluating, on the daily-basis, the finished goods deliveries (shipping records) versus the delivery commitments (hit & miss analysis). To provide copy of delivery schedule/commitment to production supervisors, if necessary.
- To assume the jobs of the planning head in his absence.
Qualifications:
- College degree diploma preferably engineering course or business courses major in manufacturing/production/business administration or any related field of knowledge.
- Must have at least 1 year work experience as production planner or planning in-charge in a manufacturing industry set-up.
- Must possess good supervisory, analytical, organizational, planning, leadership, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
