1. Design Management
1.1 Coordinates conceptual and technical details of designs and all related plans from concept until completion of the project.
1.2 Implements the Construction Project Management (CPMP) Plan for the Project and ensures that the consultants, contractors and suppliers comply with the established procedures and instructions ensuring the expeditious implementation and timely delivery of the Project.
1.3 Periodically supervises the progress of the Project.
1.4 Attends and may conduct in the following meetings, preferably weekly:
1.4.1 Regular Project Site Staff Meeting
1.4.2 Project Management Team Meeting
1.4.3 Construction Coordination or Technical Meeting
1.4.4 Design Meeting
1.4.5 Safety and other special meetings as required
1.5 Prepares and issues out minutes, when his/her presence is required in a meeting
2. Quality Management
2.1 Inspects the compliance to design of the works on Projects.
2.2 Assist the Project Management Team in monitoring the quality assurance and inspection works being conducted by the Contractors’ Quality Control
2.3 Performs quality assurance and quality control on all works and materials of contractors and suppliers through daily construction observation and inspection based on approved design and specifications.
2.4 Conducts regular project Walk –thru together with the contractor to check on the progress of works and spot potential problems in terms of design compliance.
2.5 Issues corresponding Notices to comply for each non-conformance discovered as to be compiled weekly and monthly for endorsement to the Construction Project Manager (CPM)/Project Director (PD) and Technical Director as to be included in the Monthly Project Update.
2.6 Monitor strict compliance to all government and private rules and regulations regarding design compliance.
2.7 Reviews and signs all Work Inspection Requests Forms submitted by the contractors and suppliers related to design compliance.
2.8 Conducts Plant and Off-site inspections to monitor progress of work and ensure correctness and timely delivery of material to the site.
2.9 Prepares design weekly and/or monthly progress reports to endorse to CPM/PD
2.10 Witnesses material and product testing and validate test results
2.11 Witnesses the start-up, testing, commissioning, turn-over and acceptance of contractors’ and suppliers’ work or products.
3. Site Safety and Health Management
3.1 Assist the CPM Team in ensuring that Good Housekeeping is diligently practiced within the Company’s site offices and facilities.
3.2 Assist the CPM Team in ensuring that the contractors and suppliers implement security and safety programs for the Project
3.3 Issues corresponding Safety Notice Report for non-conformance to the Design/Site Safety and Health Program.
4. Schedule Management
4.1 Monitors Design Consultant’s compliance to schedule of design deliveries.
4.2 Advises the Construction Project Manager (CPM), Project Director (PD), Owner/Developer and the contractors of any constraints and critical factors that may be a cause for delay in the completion of the Project and recommend appropriate solutions.
5. Cost Management
5.1 Assist the project team in handling the preparation of claims for change order, including the preparation of quantity and cost estimates to ensure timely resolution, approval and execution of these claims.
5.2 Assisting the project team in preparing budgetary estimates for bid proposals
5.3 Assisting the project team in assessing the values of contractors’ work accomplishment and endorse work for payment
5.4 Produces documents of files for all cost updates gathered, updated or drafted for weekly and monthly compilation.
6. Contract Management
6.1 Assist the project team in handling the administrative aspects of bidding, negotiation and award of construction packages.
6.2 Handles the Design Addenda, Construction Manager’s Instructions (CMI’s), Requests for Informations (RFI’s), Substitution Requests and the like in cases necessary for proper contract management.
6.3 Presents Contract Status/Work Accomplishments for the Monthly Project Update.
6.4 Reviews and Interprets design, contract documents, drawings and specifications.
6.5 Attends to bidders and contractors’ regarding design and administrative issues.
6.6 Assist the project team in handling contractor’s submittals, i.e. shop drawings, samples, work methodology and ensures timely approval.
6.7 Attends and may conduct in the following meetings, as necessary
6.7.1 Pre-bid Meeting
6.7.2 Clarification Meeting
6.7.3 Other special contract meetings as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
