JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Collaborate with Engineers, Architects and other to determine the specifications of the project.
2. Obtains necessary permits and licenses for the project construction.
3. Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
4. Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
5. Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
6. Hire needed staff and allocate responsibilities
7. Supervise the work of laborers and give guidance when needed.
8. Evaluate progress and detailed reports.
9. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
Qualifications:
1. Licensed Civil Engineer.
2. In depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
3. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
4. Knowledgeable in MS Office
5. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
6. A team player with leadership abilities.
7. Knowledge in construction methodologies and procedure is a must.
8. With excellent analytical and organizational skills.
