About the Role:
Project Manager – Mobile App Development (Remote | PH-Based | PST Hours)
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our team as an independent contractor for an exciting mobile application development project. You’ll play a critical role in bridging communication between our client and engineering team, ensuring timelines are met and milestones are delivered with precision.
This is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity tailored for a motivated and detail-oriented professional based in the Philippines and amenable to working in the PST time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of software development lifecycle from kickoff to go-live
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA
- Track progress using tools like ClickUp, Jira, Trello, or similar
- Create and maintain Agile sprint plans, timelines, and technical documentation
- Proactively identify and resolve risks, blockers, or scope changes
- Deliver status updates in a way that’s meaningful to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing software or mobile application projects
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work full-time during PST business hours
- Based in the Philippines
Bonus Points
- Prior experience as a Scrum Master or technical BA (Business Analyst)
- Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
- Familiarity with GitHub, Firebase, or similar development platforms
Compensation
- $5–$6 per hour, depending on experience
