Main Duties: Can assists in the following;
- Identifying & Resolving Issues – Address problems with incorrect, defective, or delayed purchased parts.
- Supplier Dispute Resolution – Communicate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, damaged goods, or warranty claims.
- Emergency Procurement – Find alternative sources in case of shortages, backorders, or urgent requirements.
- Cost Recovery & Returns – Assist in managing returns, refunds, or credits for faulty or incorrect parts.
- Supply Chain Troubleshooting – Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply process.
- Inventory Verification – Confirm if replacement parts are stocked and available before purchasing.
Qualifications:
- Education
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Automotive Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
- Skills & Knowledge:
Minimum 1 year of experience in construction, vehicle or manufacturing purchasing.
Background in supplier negotiation and knowledge of construction materials, vehicle parts, or components is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple suppliers and requests.
Detail-oriented with accurate ordering and inventory tracking.
Problem-solving skills for urgent supply chain needs.
