Job Description:
The Purchasing Staff in a construction company is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. This role involves liaising with suppliers, managing purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting project teams to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase construction materials and equipment based on project requirements.
- Prepare and process purchase orders; monitor delivery schedules.
- Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate prices.
- Keep accurate purchase and inventory records.
- Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
- Familiarity with local suppliers and market rates in the Philippines.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php16,900.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
