- Researching and identifying potential suppliers for food cream ingredients and supplies (e.g., cream, milk powder, sweeteners, flavorings, packaging).
- Negotiating contracts, terms of agreement, and pricing with suppliers.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Collating purchase requisitions and processing purchase orders.
- Monitoring stock levels and determining purchasing needs.
- Tracking the status of orders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Updating relevant departments on order status and costs.
- Maintaining records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
- Ensuring accurate inventory tracking and reporting.
- Managing and optimizing stock levels to minimize waste and ensure production needs are met.
- Reviewing the quality of purchased products and ensuring they meet specifications.
- Reviewing deliveries against orders and addressing any discrepancies.
- Dealing with non-supplied, under-ordered, over-ordered, or damaged goods.
- Entering order details into internal databases.
- Producing and maintaining reports as required.
- Ensuring invoices are sent to accounts for payment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
