Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent knowledge of purchasing procedures, sourcing strategies, and supply chain principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the purchasing team in sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring materials, equipment, and services.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with company requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and compliance with contracts.
- Review and approve purchase orders (POs) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor PO status and resolve any issues related to delays, shortages, or incorrect deliveries.
- Coordinate closely with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Monitor purchasing budgets and ensure procurement is within approved spending limits.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate better terms where applicable.
- Work closely with finance, operations, and production teams to align purchasing with overall business needs.
- Address internal concerns related to quality, delivery, and supplier service.
Work Conditions:
- Office schedule from Monday to Saturday
- Full-time position
- Some travel may be required for marketing events, conferences, or client meetings.
