Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vessel Coordinator to manage the scheduling, documentation, and operational coordination of vessels. The ideal candidate will ensure that all vessel activities, including loading/unloading, port clearance, and compliance with maritime regulations, are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vessel schedules, berthing, and turnaround operations in collaboration with port authorities, agents, and terminal operators.
- Monitor vessel movements and ensure timely arrivals, departures, and cargo operations.
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including cargo manifests, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
- Liaise with ship captains, crew, and operations teams to relay instructions and updates.
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Maintain close communication with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines.
- Monitor and report on vessel performance and turnaround times.
- Handle daily reports, incident logs, and operational issues related to vessel activities.
- Support the logistics team in planning and optimizing cargo handling and delivery.
- Resolve any delays or disputes regarding cargo, documentation, or operational procedures.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Php230.00 - Php250.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
