Job Purpose
The Resort Manager oversees daily resort operations and ensures exceptional guest service while managing departmental functions and leading the implementation of human resource practices. The role supports La Manna’s brand promise of hospitality, excellence, authenticity, reliability, and timeless appeal by promoting operational efficiency and people-centered leadership.
Key Responsibilities
A. Operations Management
1. Lead, supervise, and coordinate all resort departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage.
2. Oversee guest experience from arrival to departure and ensure service standards are consistently met.
3. Monitor resort cleanliness, safety, maintenance, and facility readiness.
4. Ensure compliance with operational SOPs and company policies.
5. Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals, improve efficiency, and control costs.
B. Human Resource Support Functions
1. Collaborate with the management in recruitment and selection for key resort positions.
2. Endorse work schedules and verify timekeeping reports for payroll processing.
3. Review and recommend appropriate actions for employee relations, discipline, and performance issues.
4. Participate in staff evaluations, coaching, and termination proceedings when necessary, in coordination with HR.
5. Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and HR standards.
C. Leadership & Team Development
1. Promote a positive working environment and team culture that reflects La Manna’s values.
2. Supervise and mentor department heads and ensure proper delegation of responsibilities.
3. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training coordination.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience: At least 1 year exp. in a managerial or 2 years in assistant manager position in the hospitality industry
- Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, Knowledge of HR practices (recruitment, labor compliance, employee relations), Financial and budget planning, Excellent problem-solving and decision-making, Professionalism and confidentiality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php22,000.00 per month
