We're Hiring: Safety Officer
Be the guardian of workplace safety at Strategic Office Support Inc.
Are you passionate about creating safe, secure work environments? We’re looking for a Safety Officer who will take charge of developing, implementing, and maintaining safety protocols that protect our people, workplace, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and update safety policies and procedures in compliance with occupational safety standards
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Ensure safety equipment is properly maintained and accessible
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses; recommend and enforce preventive measures
- Maintain detailed safety records and submit accurate incident reports
- Lead safety training programs and workshops, including fire safety, first aid, and emergency procedures
- Organize and coordinate fire drills and evacuation drills to ensure employee preparedness
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards
- Work closely with various departments to drive a culture of safety
- Perform other safety-related duties as required
You Might Be the One If You Have...
- Solid knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and accident investigations
- Strong communication and training skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Certifications in Safety or Occupational Health (a plus, but not mandatory)
