Job Summary
We are looking for a Safety Officer who will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs across our project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and promote a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Compliance and Monitoring
- Develop, implement, and maintain OSH policies and procedures in line with government regulations.
- Monitor the consistent application of OSH practices across all project locations.
- Conduct internal safety audits and risk assessments; coordinate with external auditors as needed.
Incident Reporting and Risk Management
- Investigate work-related accidents, incidents, or near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead hazard identification and implement preventive measures.
- Submit required reports and documents to DOLE, OSH Regional Office, and BWC.
Training and Education
- Facilitate OSH-related training sessions (e.g., safety orientation, refresher courses).
- Educate employees about safety practices, emergency procedures, and PPE requirements.
Workplace Safety and Coordination
- Ensure proper use and availability of PPE across all sites.
- Maintain clinic readiness and ensure sufficient medical supplies are available.
- Coordinate closely with the company nurse, physician, and security team for health and safety concerns.
- Support the company’s efforts in managing health risks such as the spread of infectious diseases.
- Issue Work Stoppage Orders when necessary based on OSH standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of any four-year course (Engineering or Nursing preferred)
- Must have a valid BOSH or COSH certification
- At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in construction or real estate development
- Strong knowledge of OSH processes such as:
- HIRAC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control)
- Safety Program Audits (SPA)
- Post-Incident Analysis and Emergency Preparedness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, time management, and decision-making skills

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
