Job Summary
A Sales Associate in the retail and power tools industry is responsible for providing expert customer service, driving sales, and ensuring customers are matched with the right tools for their needs. This role requires strong product knowledge, especially in power tools and related equipment, and the ability to clearly explain features, benefits, and usage. The Sales Associate supports day-to-day store operations, maintains well-organized displays, and helps create a safe and professional retail environment. This role also includes assisting with tasks delegated by supervisors to ensure smooth store operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and clients
- Identify client needs and recommend products or services that best fit their goals and objectives.
- Conduct product demos and presentations for potential clients to showcase the benefits and features of our products or services.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months to 1 year experience in sales
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Proactive and results-driven mindset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- At least high school or college level
