DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Represents management and the company.

2. Ensures that a group of subordinates get out the assigned amount of production, when they are supposed to do it and within acceptable levels of quality, costs, and safety.

3. Organizes his/her department and employees, visualizes future impacts and needs, energizes the employees to get their tasks done and supervise their work, ensuring that the productivity and quality standards are met.

4. Ensures that his subordinates have the training, the tools, and the materials that they need to carry out their duties.

5. Acts as a middleman between the employees who actually do the job and the rest of the organization.

6. If any of his salesmen is absent or terminated, Sales Supervisor can take the vacant post to ensure continuity of operations, subject to the same accountabilities under the post temporarily assumed.

7. Ensures sufficiency of stocks in the warehouse since he generates suggested orders to suppliers, subject to the approval of his manager and general manager.

8. Monitors trade receivables and supervises in the reconciliation of hanging balances of accounts of the salesmen under his control.

9. Conducts spot audit on salesmen as may be required by the management to ensure compliance to company standards.

10. Ensures that BOs from accounts of his salesmen are properly recorded and remitted to the warehouse.

11. Ensures that proper turnover of accountabilities will be observed from outgoing to the incoming salesman (i.e., company properties, job scope, trade receivables)
