As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll be at the forefront of Lightspeed’s growth—sparking conversations and creating opportunities for our North American Outbound Sales team.
You’ll be the first friendly voice potential customers hear, introducing them to our cutting-edge technology built for the retail and hospitality industries. If you’re a driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves helping businesses grow, this role is made for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Proactively identify and connect with potential customers via phone, email, text, and social media
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives by clearly communicating the value of Lightspeed’s solutions
- Act as the first point of contact and a trusted brand ambassador for prospective clients
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to shape outreach strategies based on real-time market feedback
- Consistently hit or exceed activity targets across monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
- Keep lead information accurate and up to date in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Share insights and feedback from your conversations to help refine outbound messaging and improve sales processes
What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or a call center environment
- A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets or activity goals
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer-first mindset
- Confidence using CRM systems and sales engagement tools like Salesforce, Outreach, or Salesloft
- A tech-savvy approach with the ability to quickly grasp and articulate software solutions
- Experience connecting with leads across multiple outbound channels—phone, email, and social media
- Familiarity with common sales qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, SPIN, MEDDIC) is a bonus, but not needed
Our hiring process is very straightforward. You’ll undergo a preliminary video screening and the whole process will be conducted at the comfort of your own home, through Zoom or Google Meet. No need to go through Manila's heavy traffic!
