Role Overview
As our Real Estate Sales Manager, you will be a key revenue driver for Homely. You’ll lead property acquisition and disposition efforts, manage a remote sales team, and continuously optimize processes to hit and exceed revenue goals.
We’re looking for someone who is aggressive, hungry, committed, and ambitious—someone who’s successfully climbed the ranks from cold caller to sales manager in the same company, and who lives to close real estate deals. This role demands both elite closing ability and a leadership mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Closings: Act as the lead closer on all property acquisitions.
- Negotiate Sales: Finalize deals on the disposition side, managing buyer interactions.
- Transaction Management: Oversee full transaction lifecycle and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Client Engagement: Conduct phone and video meetings to build trust and secure deals.
- Sales Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and support a team of sales reps toward individual and team goals.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Sales on team strategy and pipeline reviews.
- Revenue Ownership: Take responsibility for hitting company revenue KPIs.
- Process Optimization: Continually refine and implement effective sales strategies.
- Training & Development: Facilitate ongoing team training sessions.
- Recruitment: Support the hiring and onboarding of top-tier sales talent.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of solid experience as a Sales Manager with a strong background in managing a sales team and developing sales skills
- U.S. Real Estate background is a big plus
- 10+ years of outbound sales experience
- Deep expertise in outbound sales strategy
- Proven track record of closing deals
- Demonstrated career progression from cold caller to sales manager within the same company
- Strong background in closing and high-stakes negotiation
- Experience working in a fully remote, fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership and coaching skills with a track record of team growth
- Proficiency with CRMs such as HubSpot, Follow Up Boss, etc.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools
