Job Summary:
The Sales Specialist is responsible for generating revenue by promoting and selling the hotel’s rooms, event spaces, and other services. This role focuses on developing strong client relationships, executing effective sales strategies, and meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain and expand relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
- Conduct sales calls, presentations, and property tours for prospective clients.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales in line with hotel policies.
- Coordinate with the Reservations, Events, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless client experience.
- Maintain accurate client records, sales reports, and market analysis.
- Represent the hotel in trade shows, networking events, and promotional activities.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office and hotel sales systems.
