Job Description
Turnitin is looking for a highly organized and proactive Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic sales development team. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales operations. You will be responsible for providing administrative, operational, and logistical support to our sales development team, enabling them to focus on prospecting and building pipeline for our sales organization. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Administration:
- Help set up, administer and track Global and Regional Sales Development campaigns including analyzing and providing feedback on results.
- Maintain and update CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with accurate and timely information on leads and contacts from multiple sources.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of sales materials and marketing collateral.
- Track and report on sales development team performance.
- Lead Management & Qualification Support:
- Assist in the initial routing of inbound leads based on predefined criteria.
- Route qualified leads to the appropriate sales development representatives.
- Conduct research to identify potential leads and gather relevant company information.
- Customer Communication & Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for sales-related inquiries from both internal customers and cross-functional teams, and occasionally external partners, demonstrating collaboration and effective communication.
- Assist sales development representatives in setting up and managing sales campaigns.
- Sales Operations & Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales support tools and resources (Groove, Salesforce, Databees, Google Workspace).
- Generate sales reports and analyze data to provide insights to the sales development team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain SDR process documentation.
- Manage and maintain SDR campaign documentation & repository.
- Collaboration & Team Support:
- Work closely with sales development representatives, sales managers, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales development team as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications
Working 12pm to 9pm PH Time
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Groove, Google Workspace).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Google Workspace equivalents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and resourceful with a strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A basic understanding of SaaS business models and sales processes is a plus.
