Role Overview:
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, performance, and discipline of the sales team. The role ensures that sales targets and processes are met, monitors attendance and productivity, and provides coaching and support to team members. The Sales Supervisor also manages administrative requirements such as meeting minutes and acts as the first level of validation for commission claims and reporting before elevating to the Sales Head.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the sales team and monitor daily sales activities, client follow-ups, and productivity.
- Track attendance, punctuality, and compliance with company policies.
- Enforce discipline and professionalism within the sales team.
- Monitor progress toward targets and address underperformance.
- Record minutes of sales meetings and ensure follow-through on action items.
- Oversee proper filing and documentation of sales-related records.
- Ensure the team maintains accurate CRM entries and updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Finance, Service, Marketing, Design) for sales requirements.
- Consolidate and validate sales pipelines, forecasts, and activity reports from the team.
- Submit accurate, timely consolidated reports to the Sales Head.
- Monitor opportunities, highlight risks, and recommend corrective action.
- Review and validate commission claims submitted by the sales team.
- Confirm completeness of supporting documents (POs, DRs, invoices, CRM entries).
- Coordinate with Accounting to process and verify commission calculations.
- Handle first-level disputes with sales staff and escalate unresolved matters to the Sales Head.
- Provide guidance and coaching to sales team members to improve performance.
- Conduct regular one-on-one reviews and feedback sessions.
- Recommend training or process improvements to enhance sales effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to enforce discipline while maintaining team morale.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM experience is an advantage.
