Key duties & requirements
- Develop optimisation strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
- Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials
- Monitor performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
- Efficiently communicate with the team to align goals – responsiveness on emails, phone and other direct message channels
- Assist with the preparation of high-quality website and social media content
- Work with the team to update website content and website links for maximum optimisation and search engine rankings
- Create a Google Business Profile and LinkedIn Posts
- Assist with social media posts
- Assist with the preparation and scheduling of marketing emails
- Perform website updates and changes using WordPress
- Utilisations of page builders (Elementor, Divi, WP Bakery, Beaver etc..)
Knowledge/Skills/attributes
- Two to three years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Looker Studio
- SEO Tools: Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, WordPress SEO Plugins (Yoast, RankMath, SmartCrawl etc...)
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
- Comfortable analysing high volumes of data on a regular basis
- Strong knowledge and experience of WordPress and other CMS platforms
- Strong knowledge of SEO fundamentals
- Strong knowledge of HTML
- Technologically savvy and ability to learn new skills quickly
- Strong understanding of hashtags, links and basic SEO functions and the digital world
- Excellent English skills (both spoken and written)
- Knowledge and experience with digital platforms and the digital industry
- Strong computer skills, Office 365/Google suite of tools
- Attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking
- Website migrations (server to server)
