08The Role: Specialist – Cash Management (Record to Report)
The Team: Be part of a global record to report team and collaborate with domestic and international retained staff; third parties; Treasury; Intercompany; AP & OTC teams, and all global business units focusing on achieving team / company objectives.
The Impact: This position will work with the team on month end close activities and for interfacing with Treasury system into our ERP system (Oracle Cloud). The individual will monitor the daily bank files import and creation of bank setups and maintenance. Team member will manage the miscellaneous account with transaction that varies from AR receipts, AP refund, taxes, royalties, benefits, T&E, and others. Team member may also perform cash & cash equivalent reconciliations. The individual will also be helping the team on providing support for audit requests and ensure adherence to our SOX policies and procedures related to Bank setup maintenance. The position may also work on acquisitions and divestiture activities and support US team during crunch time. Team member may also be responsible for reconciling corporate debt reconciliations, amortizations, credit facilities, and commercial paper.
Team member must understand subsystems such as Treasury Kyriba system, Oracle Cloud- AR, AP modules & any of our legacy systems that impact cash module to ensure overall end to end process works continuously and effectively. Knowledge on accessing and performing tasks associated to bank and credit card portals. Experience in handling ticketing tools -- Service Now tickets. Adhere to accounting, audit, systems controls, and procedures ensuring compliance with corporate policies and SOX controls.

Responsibilities:
Maintains the accounting activities of the Miscellaneous Account and other US/CA accounts and resolves and reconciles the accounts accurately.
Prepares journal entries and accounting classifications to successfully complete the financial close each month and report the cash accurately.
May work on the Cash and Cash Equivalent Reconciliations and Corporate Debt Reconciliations as assigned.
Works closely with other work streams to ensure timely clearance of open items within corporate policies.
Supports the US team on the internal and external audit requests related to Cash Management.
May work on Divestiture/Acquisitions Team in acquired and discontinued operations of purchased or sold business, cash handling and providing support i.e. reconciliations, financial statements and or contacts.
Coordinates with the IC team on recording the intercompany settlements related to specific entities requiring special accounting treatments.
Provides ad-hoc support for any cash audit requests as required by manager.
Performs back fill and support to other team members.
Works on Cash Management queries received via ticketing tool.
May work with the Scrum team to ensure Cash Management Operations are functioning as well as testing Oracle enhancements and projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact and collaborate with internal (employees) and external customers (vendors) at all levels including third parties to achieve results.
Strong ability to analyze and resolve issues timely and efficiently while ensuring SOX compliance is imperative.
Independent ability (not limited to) to resolve cash management issues; major cash transactions including our corporate debt, investments and Accelerated share repurchase and month end close that impacts cross functional teams and executive management.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people globally supporting not only internal employees but also our external customers globally to resolve issues.
High degree of accuracy and management of workload; understanding of contributions to the overall end to end process; ability to meet deadlines is critical.
Must be able to work independently, be accountable for processes/tasks performed, and understand when an issue should be escalated to management.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Motivated to achieve objectives; may be required to take a leading position for projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of Cash and general accounting experience required
College level accounting degree preferred/ CPA
Experience with Oracle Cloud, SAP, ARCS (reconciliation tool), and international banking applications preferred.
Willingness to learn our new systems and legacy systems at a fast phase
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required; the ability to interact and collaborate with internal and external customers at all levels of management and staff globally.
Proficiency in Alteryx, Tableau, and BIP reporting preferred.
Skills in dealing with offshore partners and communication.
High degree of accuracy and management of heavy workload; understanding of contributions to the overall end to end process; possess a global perspective of how functions impact the company as a whole.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products specifically Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint.
Proficient in MS Excel – Macro, VBA, Visio, and/or Lucid for SOP creation and process maps.
Knowledge in Smartsheet application.
Must be assertive to follow up on resolving issues, ability to multi-task in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
Must be able to work independently, be accountable for processes/tasks performed, and understand when an issue should be elevated to management.
Flexible to work in shifting schedules, primarily to match the US working hours (night shift) and render overtime during month end close, year-end close and when there is a strong business need.
