Job Description:
Responsible for effectively and efficiently day to day Occupational Health and Safety management of Carelon Global Solutions Inc. Primary duties may include but are not limited to: Prepares the necessary documentations, permits and Occupational Safety and Health requirements to comply towards OSH requirements set out by DOLE, OSHC and Carelon Global Solutions Philippines, update and revise the HIRAC/ Safety and Health Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control based on the current needs and requirements of the site, JSEA (Job Safety and Environmental Analysis) must be prepared per scope, per methodology, per activity and each time there are detected risk/hazard on-site through Daily HSE Safety Walkthrough and or Weekly Project wide Safety Walkthrough, coordinates with Clinic Management regarding implementation of medical surveillance for early detection and management of Occupational and Work-related diseases and First aid and emergency medical services, prepare capital and operational budget expenses relative to clinical management and OSH trainings to be submitted to the Director & Head- Security and Safety for approval, coordinate and Prepare through Clinic Management all the reportorial templates (ie. Annual Work Accident/Illness Exposure Data Report, Annual Medical Report Form, Employee’s Work Accident/Illness Report, Job Hazard Analysis, Sick Form etc.), provide recommendation to identified office health risks, create strategic requirement and deployment of health care personnel to be stationed at office clinics, prepare clinic logistics requirement (i.e. medical equipment, medicine), prepare sanitation protocols of Carelon’s clinic, office and other premises, prepare and review government recommended/mandated trainings for Carelon’s associates and other personnel, conduct the required trainings of OSH to newly hired associates and other personnel, conduct the recurring required trainings of OSH to associates and other personnel, prepare a digital course of safety training for associates and other personnel, assist in safety and health requirement of the government (ie. Submission of reports during pandemic/emergency medical situations), review policies and procedures on an annual basis, perform other duties as assigned. Requires 8 years experience in Occupational Safety and Health Management, computer literate (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint). Good in written communication, interpersonal & organizational skills. Planning and supervisory skills is an advantage. Confident, strong willed, self -motivated and with integrity with passion for HSE, BOSH, COSH, Loss Control Management and other related courses. Advance 48 hours DOLE BWC requires training and or Seminars/training relevant to OSH. Minimum Safety Officer level 3. DOLE Accredited Safety Practitioner is a plus not a requirement. Character and Integrity is more important than anything; any other related local/global and Safety Certifications.
