About the role
Sodexo On-Site Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking a full-time (Food) Storekeeper to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and managing the food inventory for our client's operations, ensuring efficient and effective stock control.
What you'll be doing
- Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accurate inventory levels
- Organize and maintain the food storage area, keeping it clean, tidy and well-stocked
- Process requisition orders and handle the distribution of food items to kitchen staff
- Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to identify any discrepancies or issues
- Liaise with the kitchen team and management to forecast future stock requirements
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards within the storage area
- Support the wider Hospitality & Tourism team as needed
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role, ideally within the food service or hospitality industry
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Knowledge of food storage and inventory control best practices
- Familiarity with relevant food safety and hygiene regulations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the kitchen team
