Responsibilities:
- Sweep streets, sidewalks, and gutters using hand tools or mechanical equipment.
- Collect and dispose of trash, leaves, and other debris in designated areas.
- Empty public trash bins and replace liners as needed.
- Report damaged street infrastructure, such as broken pavements or clogged drains.
- Maintain cleaning tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety procedures, especially when working near traffic.
- Assist in cleaning up after public events, markets, or emergencies.
- Perform other cleaning or maintenance tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors for long periods.
- Prior experience in street cleaning or general maintenance is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- Responsible, hardworking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of basic safety practices when working near roads and vehicles.
- Willing to be assigned to different cities or locations as needed.
