Job Description
Responsible in tax reporting and compliance.
Assist in tax and regulatory audits
Assist in external & internal audits as well as statutory audit.
Extends help in completion of Hyperion reporting
Tax Reporting and Legal
Reconciles and prepares the following tax returns and computes tax liabilities prior to payment and electronic filing in EFPS:
o Value Added Tax – VAT
o Withholding taxes (compensation, expanded and final tax)
o Fringe Benefit Tax – FBT
o Other tax reports and listings
o Corporate Income Tax
o Documentary stamp tax
o E-submission of tax listings such as monthly alphalist, input VAT & output VAT
Prepares annual compliances.
o Annual Information Returns (Form 1604F, 1604E, 1604C)
o Annual alphalist
o Inventory List
Runs and prepares the annual books of accounts submission
Assist in responding and taking action on letters received from BIR, LOAs, Tax Mapping and government regulatory agencies for queries and assessments.
Initiates processing of new and renewal application of business permit for all locations and related documents such as barangay clearance, community tax certificate, etc.
Process tax clearance and other related tax documents
Assist in annual business permit and other local regulatory requirements.
Files and maintains tax and legal documents and other financial records to ensure completeness and orderliness based on established guidelines on filing system.
Assist in legal document request related to corporate secretary and other bidding requirements of business units.Ensure application and compliance with tax treaty applications, tax residency certificate and other tax certifications.
Proper filing and documentation of financial records, in accordance with the tax and legal guidelines and issuances.
Assists in preparing and coordinating with the internal for HFM/Hyperion Group reporting.
Properly update the BLIKA system – for annual compliance and risk assessment
Coordination with the Regional Tax Director, if needed
Qualifications
Graduate of BS Accountancy or its equivalent, preferably CPA
Minimum of 3 years experience in Finance / Accounting, focused in Tax
Must be updated with tax regulations
