Summary
Test Engineering Technician is responsible for handler testing, performing initial setup and isolations on tester/handler/prober. He/she will be in collaboration with various Engineering groups and Business units to execute testing of lots during test development. He/she can work under pressure with minimal supervisions. He/she should perform hand testing when operator manpower is limited.
Key Qualifications
-Knowledge with Test equipment (Teradyne Flex/uFlex, National Instrument…etc.)
-Familiar with various Gravity Fed and Pick & Place Handlers (Multitest, Rasco, Delta Edge, Seiko Epson…etc) and Probers (P8, Plum5 & UF3K)
-Good problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement fixes
-Familiar with basic test manufacturing/engineering process
-Ability to communicate (oral and written) to deliver messages across cross functional teams
-Knowledge in electronic circuits
-Knowledge in electrical and computer troubleshooting
-With basic soldering skills
Education and Experience:
-Graduate of 2 to 3 years Technology course major in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Electromechanical or any equivalent course.
Work experience/internship in the Semiconductor industry, specifically in Test Manufacturing, is an advantage.
