About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven U.S. Accounting Manager to lead client engagements, oversee financial reporting, and manage a high-performing accounting team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in U.S. GAAP, a proven track record of delivering high-quality client service, and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and technical accounting skills, along with a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage accounting team members, providing coaching, performance feedback, and ensuring alignment with firm-wide goals.
Oversee client engagements, delivering strategic insights and maintaining strong relationships to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
Review and sign off on U.S. financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to deadlines.
Drive process improvements and strategic initiatives, supporting firm growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
At least 5 years of US-based accounting experience in an accounting firm.
Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and leading teams.
Deep understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and operational processes.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to drive initiatives and improvements in a collaborative environment.
Familiarity with cloud-based accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero)
Willing to work the night shift to accommodate collaboration with team members in the US (across different time zones)
