Job Qualifications
- Candidate must be a graduate of 2-year vocational course in Mechanical Technology or Electromechanics
- With a minimum of 2 years experience as a Boiler Operator, preferably in a food manufacturing company
- With relevant experience in maintaining a Wastewater treatment facility
- Can read and interpret mechanical diagrams
- Preferably residing in Calamba or any nearby areas
- Willing to render overtime and work on weekends, holidays and on rotational shift, as needed
AS BOILER OPERATOR
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards such as but not limited to Food Quality Systems, HACCP & GMP policies.
- Repair, maintain, and adjust boilers, heat exchanger, pumps, compressors, cooling tower, water lines, steam lines, valves, and all related systems and equipment.
- Maintain maximum boiler efficiency by adjusting, reading, and interpreting gauges, indicators, and steam flow meters.
- Observe boiler plant operations through use of electronic or pneumatic controls, pressure gauges, and safety devices
- Supervises or performs the chemical testing and treatment of boiler feed water
- Maintain various records and reports relative to steam plant operations.
- Execute trouble shooting of any problem that may occur in any machine Utilities. Participate in problem solving discussion and suggest improvements on the machine.
- Coordinate to production on the start/stop of Utilities supplies.
- Perform proper preventive maintenance such as machine cleaning, inspection, lubrication and tightening of the machine handle as per standard procedures manual
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR
- Control equipment and monitor processes that remove or destroy harmful materials, chemicals, and microorganisms from wastewater.
- Run tests to make sure that the processes are working correctly
- Keep records of water quality and other indicators.
- Operate and maintain the pumps and motors that move water and wastewater through filtration systems.
- Monitor the indicators at their plants and make adjustments as necessary.
- Read meters and gauges to make sure that plant equipment is working properly.
- Take samples and run tests to determine the quality of the water being produced.
- Keep records that document compliance
